The Learning in production conference

The qualification of employees is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry. Shorter product lifecycles and more complex production processes are placing high demands on employees working in production. For employees in assembly, production and maintenance, simple and action-orientated learning in production is playing an increasingly important role.

The “Learning in production” conference will be held as part of IAA 2007. The speakers will provide you with expert insights into the future of the automotive industry and operational further training. DaimlerChrysler, IG Metall and other partners will present a learning infrastructure which is used in several international plants. The qualification of employees is hereby directly integrated in the working process.

An IT-supported learning infrastructure documents all work steps and enables employees to train directly at the workplace. It establishes lifelong learning and knowledge management in production at European level. Here the knowledge is integrated along the entire value added chain of suppliers, machine manufacturers and OEM.
